Family Solutions for Kids
Family Solutions for Kids is a program designed to help parents and children who are facing challenges in their family functioning. The program is funded through a grant from St. Louis County Children's Service Fund in collaboration with Every Child's Hope and Children's Foundation of Mid~ America. Family Solutions for Kids is a free in-home intervention tailored to meet the distinct needs of each family we serve. FSK is available to any St. Louis County family with identified youth ages 4 to 19.
Participation in this program is voluntary and offers a broad range of services including:
Individual therapy
Family therapy
Linkage with community services
Educational Advocacy/support
24-hour emergency phone number
Psychiatric Services
Communication Skills Training
Child development education
Parent Education/Coaching
The assigned Case Therapist will be available to the family for up to 4 hours per week. The Case Therapist will assist the family in developing natural supports within the community and help the family be successful during the intervention, as well as after. All Case Therapists are Master's level and either licensed or provisionally licensed in the State of Missouri.
